State of the Art Equipment & Highly Trained Professionals Saving People's Lives...

Berkeley County Department of Emergency Communications is the primary answering point for 911 calls requesting emergency assistance from residents of Berkeley County, City of Martinsburg and the Town of Hedgesville. Emergency telecommunicators and call takers staff the Berkeley County Emergency Communications Center, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year.

Berkeley County Department of Emergency Communications handles hundreds of calls daily on both emergency and non-emergency lines. The Emergency Communications Center also monitors fire and burglar alarms for a variety of local businesses.

The Berkeley County Emergency Communications Center provides primary call dispatch and related services to the following agencies.
