Winter weather often creates concerns over travel and safety, while bringing excitement for “snow days” and winter recreational activities. Being prepared for winter weather is the key to safety and enjoyment. Prior to the winter weather onslaught, protect your home by:
- Removing tree branches that could fall under the weight of ice or snow.
- Inspecting fireplaces, wood stoves, chimneys and flues. Have furnace systems and vents checked.
