Berkeley County Sheriff Promotional Examination

The Berkeley County Deputy Sheriff’s Civil Service Commission originally announced a promotional examination for Lieutenant, Sergeant and Corporal positions on Monday, 5 February 2018, at 3:00PM. However, the promotional examination for Corporal has been postponed until a later date, yet to be determined. The promotional examination for Lieutenant and Sergeant will still be held Monday, 5 February 2018, 3:00PM, at the Berkeley County Sheriff Department training room. Only deputies who have two years of continuous service in the next lower rank with the Berkeley County Sheriff Department, at the time the vacancy occurred, will be tested....
